I’ve always been fascinated by everything that has the word ‘surprise’ in it. If you tell me there’s something I’m not supposed to know, I’ll do anything to find out what it is. I’ve also always been drawn to surprise products and I wonder why the idea of offering a Surprise Box myself didn’t occur to me sooner. But that is about to change! More after the jump!
Who isn’t familiar with them? The wonderful quotes of Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore from the ‘Winnie the Pooh’ stories? All of these brilliant oneliners are the work of A. A. Milne; one of the most talented writers in history. And seeing as he wrote one of my fave quotes of all time, I decided to honour him with a piece of artwork. More after the jump!
Everyone who knows me a little bit knows that autumn is my absolute favourite season. I’m not the super-hot-weather type of gal and summer clothes are simply not for me. I love sweaters and ankle boots. It’s no secret that I long for autumn once spring comes around and therefore, working on this print mid-summer made me super happy. More details about this print after the jump!
The weekend is over once again and that means we’ll all be starting work again today. Since my week is full of exciting projects, I’m actually really looking forward to it. I’ll be working on things for our wedding, I’ll be wrapping up a big project and I’ll share a very special design I made here this week. Curious? Be sure to check back here later. For now I’m leaving you with this fresh dose of inspiration. I’m sure it’ll be enough to kick start your week. Enjoy!
If you’ve been following me on instagram, then you might have seen that I got the opportunity to draw several custom family portraits these past months. Since I didn’t share them on the blog yet, I thought it would be nice to show then to you today. ready? More after the jump!
In just a little over two weeks it’s Halloween and I could not be more excited. Everywhere around me, I see everything transition into fall mode. Not only nature is changing colour, so are shopping windows and my instagram feed. It’s wonderful to see how the whole world seems to be preparing for a different season. This Halloween is extra special to me, since I’ll be celebrating using products from HEMA (which have my illustrations on it). But first, there’s another couple of weeks of work ahead of us. And since I love my job, I really don’t mind that. I’ve got lots of good stuff planned for the blog this week: I’ll be sharing some more family portraits I illustrated recently and I’ll write a new guest post for Team Confetti. Oh and of course I’ve got your weekly dose of inspiration right here!
Enjoy your week everyone!
Today I can FINALLY tell you about a project I finished in december 2016. I’ve had to keep my mouth shut about this one for a long time, but now that the results are finally out there I am very proud to tell you that I got to make the illustrations for HEMA’s Halloween collection this year.
