So long, summer. See you next year.

Bags for school are packed, highways are crowded again and mailboxes are starting to fill up once more. I guess summer’s now really over and daily life has started again. I wish I could post a hundred photos of all the tropical places I’ve been this summer, but I’m afraid I don’t have any. The only thing John and I have been doing over the past few weeks, is work. John is still finishing up his master’s degree and I’ve been working triple shifts in the TextielMuseum and my own business. And there’s nothing wrong with that, as I’m very happy at both jobs and John’s almost done with school. So, a lot of great things happened too.

For example, I made not 1, not 2, not 3, but 7 (!) new products this summer, we were photographed by the lovely Hanke Arkenbout¬†for our engagement shoot on a blazing hot summer night, I closed a very exciting deal with a company from the UK, we went to the local fair, went to see the Harry Potter exhibition and went to Scheveningen (this is a little coast town in The Netherlands). Oh and last but most definitely not least: I picked out a wedding dress (insert panic-emoji here). So yes, you could say that our summer was quite productive. And I can’t wait to share more on everything here over the next few weeks, as I have missed blogging too.

How was your summer? Please let me know in the comments. I could use some tropical stories!
