Wowowowow! Is it March already?! Where did the time go?! Well, with a start of a new month comes a photo diary of the month before, so without further ado, here’s what I’ve been up to in february. If you want to see behind the scenes shots on a daily basis, be sure to follow me on instagram! Click through to see all images.
Oh my Gosh you guys! You sure have outdone yourselves with the #tcennujij instagram challenge! So many wonderful submissions came in! It was just fab to see how you all used my illustrations in your very own way. Props for all of you! Click through to see the pic of the winner and the top 10.
Dear spring, bring it on. Pretty please. Now that it’s march there’s no stopping the spring-butterflies in my stomach. I can’t wait to get rid of my sweaters for a few months. Or to sit outside and eat ice cream. Or just have dinner on my balcony. I’m ready. And so is this week’s Inspiration Monday. Enjoy!
That’s what my life pretty much always looks like. A rollercoaster. I went through some heavy ups and downs lately and although I know that’s all part of the job and the life I’m living, sometimes it’s just a little too much. Like this past month. Click through to find out more.
The last ‘5 things I’m doing right now’ post dates back to over a month ago, so I thought it’s high time for another peek behind the scenes! Click through to find out what I’m up to right now:
And just like that we find ourselves in the last week of February. I know this month is shorter than the others, but still. It went by way too fast. I’m totally ready for diving headfirst into another work week (it will be a long one, since I will be selling my items at the Swan Market in my hometown Tilburg this sunday), bur first I’ll be giving you your weekly dose of pretty things in this week’s Inspiration Monday.
I’m so glad to announce that I have two designer’s markets booked for the season already (I’m pretty sure more will follow later). Click through to find out where and when you can come and do some awesome shopping!
Remember I told you about how I was working on illustrations for the Boekieboekie illustration contest a few weeks ago? Well, today I’ll share the work I made for that contest with you! Click through to satisfy your curiosity!
First of all, I want to shout out a big ‘thank you’ to all of the wonderful comments I got on my first guest-post of last month. I enjoyed reading your compliments and answering your questions SO much. Olga said it to me earlier, but now I know firsthand that it’s true: Team Confetti readers are the best readers in the world. Thank you!
So last week I showed you how I do my work as an illustrator. But ‘making pretty things’ isn’t all that I do. I like to create experiences too. And that can mean anything really; from the allround styling and design of a big event (a project that’s still on my designer’s bucket list) to creating a world wide llama invasion. I like to make people experience something. And that’s why this month you’ll be getting to work with ‘my way of working’. Really? Yes, really! But how? Well, with a free printable I created especially for Team Confetti! Read on for more details and images!
Happy monday everyone! I hope your weekend has been as good as mine. I spent the weekend in a cottage in an attempt to flee ‘carnaval'; a multiple-day Dutch holiday that only takes place in part of the country (mine to be exact) and which I absolutely despise. So I was ‘forced’ to flee and relax all weekend. Oh, poor me. But after such a relaxing weekend I can’t wait to start another work week, which will be pretty eventful. Tomorrow, my second guest-post for Team Confetti will be published and later this week I will finally share the work I made for the Boekieboekie illustration contest. So stay tuned for some awesomeness. But not before I’ve shared my weekly inspiration with you.
