Happy monday you guys! After having one hell of a week last week and a very busy weekend, I’m happy that the week ahead is a little more peaceful. At least, it looks like it will be now, you never know what is has in store, ha! Anyway, I hope your week will be just as peaceful as mine. And if it’s not, I hope it will be filled with only good things. Have a good one!
With all these after-roadtrip blogposts, it’s almost like all I’ve done these past weeks is roadtrip-afterglowing. Well, no. Although I am spending a fair amount of time editing roadtrip photo’s to share on this blog, my business is also up and running as usual again, which means taking on new projects and designing new products, like these new clutches. Read on to find out everything about them.
As a preparation for our trip, John decided to purchase a GoPro. I didn’t really see why he would do that, since it’s an action cam and I could film with my DSLR if necessary. This camera of his has proven himself very useful for filming, as well as for taking selfies. Because John also bought the very much criticized ‘selfie-stick’. And altough it’s a pretty horrifying item in my opinion, we had lots of fun taking selfies with it. Thirty-two selfies in total. Click through to view them all.
Although you’ve seen small parts of Portland in my World Domination Summit blogpost, there’s still so much to show you about this city. Thinking about it, I think I can say Portland was my favourite city out of all the ones we’ve seen during our trip. It was old (in a good way), mellow, a little hipster and just so beautiful! Click through to see why I think it’s that beautiful.
Oh, Oregon. You’re so gorgeous in so many ways. I showed you some of Oregon’s features last week, and today it’s time for part two! Click trough for the prettiest lighthouse ever, breath-taking beaches and an antique carousel!
Although I’m not quite ready to be submerged in the fall yet (I’m not really looking forward to the cold and rain), I must admit that this time of year always makes me feel very warm inside. I think about long walks in the forest and drinking hot cocoa. Not to mention the fact that holiday season is right around the corner. So let’s celebrate a little pre-autumn party with this Inspiration Monday today. Have a good one!
Yup. Going on a roadtrip includes sleeping in a LOT of different hotel rooms. Twenty to be exact. I took a picture of (almost) every hotel room we stayed in during these five weeks. These rooms range from the most luxury hotel on The Strip in Las Vegas, to shabby road motels in the middle of nowhere. It was quite the experience. Click through for an overview of all these hotel rooms.
After I showed you our adventures in Washington State last week, it is now time to share the first part of our time in Oregon.
Oregon is equally as beautiful as Washington, but in it’s very own way. Washington appeared to be more forest-y, whereas Oregon also has a lot of beautiful beaches to offer (which I will show you in part two). Click through to find out what we’ve been up to!
Happy September everyone! I can’t believe summer is supposed to be over now. I wasn’t quite done with eating ice cream (I get the feeling I talk about food a lot), long summer nights outside and just enjoying the sunshine yet.
To hold on to that feeling of summer just a little longer, here’s a summery Inspiration monday for y’all.
Due to the fact that I failed to post a recap last month (I was a little too busy having a vacation) I am now stuck with having too much to write about. I have considered just writing about one subject this month and saving the others for later, but knowing myself I will have another (more up-to-date) subject to write about next month and the other subjects will never be addressed here again.
So I’ve decided to write a collection of tiny columns this month. Because I simply have a lot to say. Click through to read them all.
